Our story
We are two sisters based on the South Coast of England who decided to collaborate creatively and make a business together in 2019. We began by designing patterns for a third party subscription service. Alongside it we designed our own products and took them to local markets, started to sell our products online, and began running small sewing workshops. Sew Cosy Patterns was formed!
 

Self expression
We make inspiring sewing and embroidery kits, patterns and tutorials that everyone can express themselves with and enjoy - from beginners to long-time sewists.

Design
We think it's important to be totally original: we design, illustrate and print fabrics for kits and embroidery patterns, and we design, draft and print and fold all our own physical patterns to ensure they're easy to use and enjoyable.

Sustainability
We believe in sustainability and sewing for the future.  All our packaging is eco-friendly kraft paper or biodegradable plastic, and we make sure to use environmentally certified embroidery floss for all our stitchwork.
